Dlouhý, O. Retirement savings advertising in the context of behavioural economics. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023. The main goal of this thesis is to determine the effect of advertising on individual's attitudes and intentions towards retirement savings. Key insights will focus on communication strategies such as humour and nostalgia. The literature review describes the psychology of advertisements, communication strategies of advertisements and important phenomena in behavioural economics, including narrow and broad framing, slow and fast thinking, and loss or risk aversion. To meet the objectives, advertisements for retirement savings on the Czech market are examined and then analysed in the context of aspects of behavioural economics. At the end of the thesis, recommendations are made for the effective development of communication strategies for retirement savings advertisements.

First part of this Bachelor Thesis focuses on the theory of pension scheme, intro-ducing elementary models of financing pension savings. The second part describes the most frequently recommended three-pillar system and the advantages and disadvantages of continuous and funded pension systems. Further, the thesis eval-uates current state and sustainability of pension system in the Czech Republic and in conclusion, offers a possible alternative solution for the dissolution of the sec-ond pillar of pension system.

Contributions for pension savings This thesis in the first place deals with the contributions of pension savings and the process of it's administration. The purpose of my thesis is a description, analysis and evaluation method of selection contributions for pension savings. The thesis is based on some new concepts that are associated with administration of insurance. It means that new contributions for pension savings are closer to taxes than to the premiums for social security. The basic source of legislation is Act No. 397/2012 Collection of Laws, about contributions for pension savings (ACPS). This thesis is divided systematically into six chapters. The first chapter is introductory. This chapter defines the aim, the methods of use and literature. The second chapter briefly describes the implementation of the pension reform, focusing on II. pillar, it's current status, proposed changes and possible future developments. The largest chapter is Chapter Three - financing of retirement savings. The starting point for description, analysis and evaluation of the regulation of contributions is Comment to the Act about contributions for pension savings. The third chapter is divided into five parts - Legislation before taking ACPS, approval of new legislation, contributions, administration of contributions...

Legal regulation of pension companies and pension funds The Master's thesis concentrates on the main issues of the legal regulation of pension companies, the designated providers of pension savings and supplementary pension savings in the Czech Republic. The thesis evaluates the reform of the pension schemes constituted by Act No. 426/2011 Coll., on Pension Savings, Act No. 427/2011 Coll., on Supplementary Pension Savings, and Act No. 428/2011 Coll., amending Certain Acts in Connection with the Adoption of the Act on Pension Savings and the Act on Supplementary Pension Savings. The thesis is divided into nine chapters. Chapter 1 is an introductory part defining the purpose of the thesis. Chapter 2 describes the pension savings regulation in the Czech Republic prior to the reform's effective date (i.e., 1 January 2013). Chapter 3 describes the pension reform and its justification. Chapter 4 concentrates on the pension companies as the managers of pension funds and supplementary pension funds. The regulation of pension funds is described in Chapter 5 while the regulation of supplementary pension funds is described in Chapter 6. Diploma thesis is deals with the issue of pension reform in the Czech Republic. Pension system in the Czech Republic in the past few years undergone a series of major changes. The main objective of all reforms steps is the stabilization and long-term sustainability of the entire system related to the changing demographic structure of the population. As the main denominators of reform made adjustments can be mentioned: determining the retirement age, the length of compulsory insurance policy for the redistribution of money in the system and citizens' motivation for saving their own resources. The work focuses on the analysis undertaken reforms and current situation in the field of pensions. It also deals with specific evaluation opportunities own means of providing for old age. Based on the findings it made recommendations for Czech citizens as financially ensure old age.
Pension reform in the Czech Republic

The content of this thesis is to evaluate the Czech pension system and pension reform, valid from 1.1.2013. First, the thesis describes the origin and development of the pension system in the Czech Republic, a general description of the pension system and comparing systems of pension schemes operating in selected countries. The practical part of the thesis analyzes the fiscal sustainability of the PAYG system and the project both financially secure current and future generations of retirees. Thesis includes recommendations for setting the retirement age depending on the evolution of the average life expectancy. The work includes the suggestion of solution for Czech citizens who do not want to be in the future depend only on the pension benefits of the state pay system, but on the basis of personal responsibility are aware of the need for savings or additional collateral. An integral part of the work is the analysis III. pillar of the pension system focusing on the evaluation of the benefits of this savings instrument. In the end, there is an overall assessment, incl. own suggestions and solutions.

This bachelor's thesis deals with the issue of pension reform in the Czech Republic. The aim of this study is the comparison of the individual pension schemes before and after the reform. The work also includes a model example that depicts three men of different age and income categories. The case study illustrates the different financial situation of the representatives during their retirement.

Dopady anuitnej novely na dôchodkový systém v Slovenskej republike

This bachelor thesis engages in the study of the participation on the defined con-tribution pension system in the Slovak republic and its goal is to find out whether the participation of the savings in the second pillar is even profitable. The theoretical part will be dedicated to the development of the pension system in the Slovak republic. Secondly, theoretical knowledge will be applied to the calculations of the pensions system. Results from the first and the second pillars of the pensions system are compared and analysed to look at the different amounts of pension received between the two pillars, and a lower wage cut-off point is calculated, defining at which point the second pillar pension contribution scheme becomes profitable.
